Dear Flockers,
We unfortunately have to make the announcement that Woods Flock 2026: Camp Cosmic must be moved from this year, to 2027. We received word from Fall Creek Falls that due to an accident while renovating, they will not be able to reopen Newton Ford group lodge in time for our event. We have exhaustively checked other options that could suit our needs, but with this little notice there is simply no availability.
We sincerely apologize and hope y’all will still be on board for 2027, which is currently set for April 23-25 (early check-in 22nd, check out 26th) again at Newton Ford, Fall Creek Falls State Park. However, we will be looking into some potential backup options in the area since NF is an older venue.
For your current registration, there are now two options, and we ask that you please fill out this form to let us know which you would like:
A. Refund
B. Rollover
If you choose refund, that will be sent out asap though there may be a small % from the original payment that is lost to the payment processor.
If you choose rollover and did not already have the premier rate ($45 for weekend registration), you will be be credited the difference. Accommodations will remain the same (bunk or tent & meal plans).
We are hoping to have a casual camping event the same weekend Woods Flock would have been (location), which would be free to attend as a small apology to our community for having to cancel the main camp. We will get info on that out asap and meantime you can express your interest on the same form.
We are also still going to have Summer Splash and Fall Fest as usual, details forthcoming.
Thank you for being part of our community and we are sorry to disappoint but hope you understand we had no option but to cancel. We look forward to the next time we can see you!
